2016 All-4-Fun-Aug. 2

Ten Jeeps went up Santa Fe Peak today. It was the first time we'd gone on this trail. It was a beautiful day. We had a lovely lunch "on top of the world" with a perfect temperature and no wind! We came back down and went up Peru Gulch and Cinnamon Gulch to the site of Pennsylvania Mine. The silver mine ceased production in 1940. Lovely day Jeeping!

Pictures don't even touch how beautiful it is.

Pictures also don't show just how high we were!

See that trail going straight up way over there? That's what we're doing Thursday!!!

2016 All-4-Fun-July 30-Aug.1st

This is our tenth year to attend Mile High Jeep Club's All-4-Fun. This year is the 50th anniversary for the event and there are 550 4-wheel-drive vehicles registered and about 1200 attendees. We are sharing a beautiful house with the dear friends that we've made through this event: the Ellis's from Baltimore, MD, the Russell's from Thayer, MO, and the Wilson's from Muscatine, IA.
We did the Kingston Peak trail on Sunday and Jenny Creek today. Here are a few pictures.
